WILD BRIBIE: A FAMILY FUN DAY

Want to learn more about Bribie's wildlife?

Meet Bribie's wildlife and find out how you can help them.
Bring the whole family along for a fun, hands-on, and educational day celebrating the incredible wildlife that calls Bribie Island and its surrounds home! Get up close and personal with some of our amazing local residents—from lizards and snakes to echidnas, possums, and unique bird species. You might even discover where our local koalas are hiding out in Sandstone Point, Ningi, and Toorbul!

What’s on offer:

Meet the Wildlife: See live local animals and learn how you can help them thrive in your own backyard and suburb.

DIY Wildlife Workshops: Build and take home your very own backyard wildlife helpers, including possum dreys, pool ramps, lizard lounges, and bird nests! (A small cash donation towards materials would be greatly appreciated).

BIEPA Project Displays: Discover how the Bribie Island Environmental Protection Association (BIEPA) volunteers are working hard to protect our natural environment—from turtle monitoring and toad busting to native planting and marine cleanups.
