ABOUT US

The Bribie Island Nature Festival was established to celebrate and showcase the Island’s extraordinary natural environment, biodiversity and sense of place.
At its heart the festival brings together arts, culture and science to deepen connection with the natural world. We acknowledge, celebrate and honour the Traditional Custodians of our island, the Kabi Kabi and Joondoburri people, who generously share their stories, knowledge and continuing cultural connection to Country.

The Festival is made possible through the support of local organisations and businesses and a dedicated community of artists, volunteers and partners who are passionate about Bribie Island’s future.

Our progam features a diverse range of events including outdoor experiences in stunning locations, visual arts exhibitions, workshops, guided nature walks, and engaging talks from artists, scientists and community leaders.
The Bribie Island Nature Festival invites audiences to slow down, explore hidden places, discover exceptional local talent and to experience the island in new and meaningful ways.
