Ever wondered about the rich diversity of plants in Bribie’s wallum heathland?

Join Ben Timmings, local botanist and passionate guide, on an exploration of the diverse habitat of Wallum heath and paperbark swamplands. This is a peaceful walk with no strenuous terrain, making it the perfect time to visit and see the wildflowers in bloom.

This activity also provides an opportunity to start your journey as a citizen scientist - download the iNaturalist app on your phone, and ecologist Dr Kat Lowe will be on hand to show you how to record your observations, connect with experts to verify your identifications, and build your knowledge of nature.
