Observing Nature’s Abundance
A half-day workshop to start your own nature journal
about
Where might nature take your imagination? Discover how four artists turn simple observations into beautiful art journals.
Nature is a limitless source of inspiration, inviting us to explore its beauty and mysteries. Whether it's the intricate patterns of tidal marks on the beach or the profound silence of a forest, spending time in nature can lead to deep insights and new artistic expressions, reminding us of the strong connection we share with the world around us. Join us for a half-day workshop where you can be inspired by four artists and their daily practice of journaling nature observations. This workshop includes a beautiful sketchbook to help you start your personal journal. You will have the opportunity to engage with four artists at different stations, each offering inspiration through their unique art practices – from printmakers and ceramicists to painters and more, all using nature journaling as a foundation for their art. Artists: Sam Pettigrew, Liz O'Byrne, Michelle Spencer, Glenda Charles..
