A walk to discover local habitat restoration first hand and plant your own tree.

What does it take to restore Buckley’s Hole habitat?
Witness the power of community un action at Buckley’s Hole, landscape being reclaimed one seeding at a time. The guided walk is led by by the local volunteers who traded hours of labour for hectares of habita, replacing invasive weeds with a burgeoning native forest. You’ll explore the “green Blueprint” of Bribie Island, learning how local hands have restored the vital balance of this important habitat. The experience culminates in a moment of active of active legacy/: planting your own native tree. Join the effort to bridge the gap between past damage and a greener, more resilient future for our island.
