bribie’s marine mammals
A talk on the fascinating marine mammals of Moreton Bay.
What makes the marine mammals that share the waters around Bribie Island so special?
Learn how research in northern Moreton Bay and Pumicestone Passage could unlock the mysteries of our local dolphins, dugongs and whales, and how citizen scientists can help find the answers.
Dr Alexis Levengood from the University of Sunshine Coast is a behavioural ecologist, geneticist and marine mammal expert whose fieldwork has taken her from the renowned dolphins of Shark Bay to research projects across six countries, working with dolphins, whales, dugongs and other marine wildlife.
