STITCH THE PLOVER - BONGAREE

Join us at Bribie Island Seaside Museum as The Wonder Wagon is transformed into a giant soft sculpture of a plover called Stitch.

Everyone is invited to drop in for this free activity, facilitated by Sue Loveday, Jennis Ardern and Kylie Harries.

Use provided materials to decorate a headband. Put on some wings and show us your dance moves under Stitch's wing.

About plovers

Plovers are birds that can be spotted in random places around the Moreton Bay Region. Also known as masked lapwings, plovers are often seen in open grassy areas close to water and in parks and playing fields. Plovers keep their chicks safe under their wings until they are old enough to fly.
